The Beard Makes the Man How to Get Dwarves Drunk

Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep is a fun and frantic first-person shooter set in a gloomy fantasy world. It was originally a DLC for Borderlands 2 that has since been ported to next-gen consoles. While it isn't very long compared to a full Borderlands experience, it has plenty to offer those who wish to dip their toes in the quirky fantasy world it creates.

However, while many players will get a tremendous experience out of Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep due to it being a compelling couch co-op experience, it is likely that you missed a thing or two while exploring. From fun crumpet-centric side quests to humorous citizens with a lot to say, there are plenty of fascinating oddities awaiting astute players.

8 Skeletons Without Heads

Blasting skeletons away with a shotgun is unsurprisingly a lot of fun in Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep. Each blast has the potential to knock off a piece of them such as helmets and spaulders or better yet, their heads. By aiming for the head of a skeleton, a precise shot can send it flying into the sea leaving the skeleton to scramble around.

The best part about it is that the skeletons continue to try and swipe at you, albeit in the completely wrong place. They charge and stab at thin air as you watch from a distance giggling away. It is a fun inclusion into an already enjoyable experience and one that will likely pass many fans by.

7 Enemies Fighting Each Other

Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep is a surprisingly immersive experience. From headless skeletons to swarms of enemies battling it out in the distance, there's plenty to immerse players deeper into its world. Fortunately, a lot of these experiences can be stumbled upon while exploring, including the aforementioned enemies fighting one another.

It is a fun sight to behold, especially when you witness a Rock Golem knock a skeleton six feet into the air. You can, of course, take part in these fights and help out either side although bear in mind that no matter who you help, it doesn't mean that they'll like you any more.

6 Treasure!

One of the most prominent aspects of the Borderlands series is loot. From pockets full of plunder to chests crammed with collectibles, there is always a plethora of things for the player to discover. Fortunately, Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep is no different as it features a hefty amount of treasure chests to crack open and pots to break apart.

However, while saying you've missed a treasure chest in one of the best looter shooters available may seem like an understatement, there are still plenty of hidden weapons and items scattered across the world. From chests tucked away on boats to crumpets hidden on rooftops, it's certainly possible that you will overlook a piece of treasure or two.

5 Talking To Flamerock Citizens

Flamerock Refuge is the main hub town of Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep and serves as the location for most of the game's side content. It also houses some of the funniest dialogue in the entire game in the form of its many wonderful citizens.

Once you've accessed it, you'll be able to talk to its myriad of citizens that are wandering around. They all have a quip or two to offer you as you walk on by, and may even shout a line out without being prompted to. They're often funny and feel like parodies of dialogue traditionally found in games such as Skyrim. It is well worth talking to a number of these citizens if only to regale in their humorous tales.

4 Catching Pixies

Pixies are a friendly enemy that floats around the Forest location in Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep. They tease the player, telling them to catch them if they can all while avoiding being caught. However, if you do catch one of these pesky pixies, you'll receive a helpful buff for a short duration.

They can increase your movement speed significantly, regenerate your health or even replenish your ammunition and grenades. Therefore, catching one of these pixies can be incredibly beneficial. However, should you shoot them beforehand, you'll anger them and be forced to fight. Fortunately, they drop a decent amount of loot upon dying, so killing them is a viable strategy too.

3 Firing A Trebuchet

There are plenty of uses for the currency Eridium in Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep. From rolling an extra dice on treasure chests to invoking powerful shrines to briefly buff yourself, you'll likely find yourself running out of it quickly. However, one of the best and most enjoyable uses of Eridium is to fire a trebuchet.

Upon activating the trebuchet, you can watch as it launches a treasure chest into the distance. Once the treasure chest lands and explodes you'll see a flurry of loot pour out of its remains ready for you to plunder. It is not only satisfying to experience the whole process but to also collect the significant reward afterward.

2 Getting Dwarves Drunk & Collecting Crumpets

Borderlands 2 is well known for having a plethora of phenomenal side quests and Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep is no different. There is plenty of optional content for you to engage with if you so desire, with each mission offering a fun insight into the minds of the main characters. One such side quest is The Beard Makes The Man in which you must lure drunk Dwarves into dangerous mining equipment to steal their beards.

If you don't engage with Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep's side content, then there's a very good chance that you missed out on some of these great side quests. For example, another quest sees you collecting various plates of crumpets from a number of locations because that is apparently all the citizens of Flamerock Refuge eat. Each quest often comes with excellent dialogue that helps develop some of your favourite characters in the Borderlands series.

1 Failing The Jumping Puzzle

One of the locations in Tiny Tina's Assualt On Dragon Keep is a giant Dwarven mine aptly called the Mines of Avarice. While progressing through this expansive area you'll come across a jumping puzzle that Tiny Tina purposefully makes difficult. Eventually, she reluctantly relents and makes it slightly easier. However, for those who still can't make it, you'll receive an easy way out.

After some time of falling into the pit of lava below, Mordecai laments about jumping puzzles so Tiny Tina allows you to simply walk across to the platform holding the item you need. It is a fun little addition that not only adds a nice character moment for both Mordecai and Tiny Tina, but that also subverts expectations.
